Event Details

Please join us in the Rimer Room to hear about a final project for a Wilton High School AP Environmental Science Class. Sayuki and Saniya combined a year of studying the environment and some of their own research into a culminating action: providing the Wilton community with practical solutions that anyone can implement to environmental problems in their shopping and fashion routines. Climate change can be overwhelming, so join them for an hour as they break down various shopping-, washing-, and fashion-related issues to see how YOU can easily contribute to the battle against it.

Sayuki Layne is a senior at Wilton High School, and she hopes to study policy and theater in college. She loves music and, as the president of WHS’s Music Honors Society, spends a lot of time performing around the area. She loves to spend time outdoors. Taking the environmental science course has made her more passionate about ways that she can change her daily habits to help the environment.  Saniya Shah is a senior at Wilton High School who hopes to study English and Economics in college. She likes to spend her time writing and is the current Co-Editor-in-Chief of the school paper. She is a plant-mom and has become passionate about the environment ever since taking AP Environmental Science. She loves researching small but powerful ways to build a sustainable world.
