Please join us on Saturday night January 11 for our next Hot & Cool
jazz concert as we kick off Dave Brubeck's centennial year with "Brubecks Play Brubeck" when Darius, Chris and Dan
Brubeck will be joined by Special Guest Dave O’Higgins. The group has
generously offered to play two sets: at 6pm and at 8pm. Due to
anticipated demand, please register for only one set.
Funded by the William and Karen Tell Foundation with special thanks to Ed & Catherine Romer and Chris & Tish Brubeck.

there will be no reception following the 6pm set but there will be an opportunity to purchase CDs and get them signed. For the 6pm set,

Seldom
does one find a family as prolific and talented as the Brubecks. Four
of the late, great Dave Brubeck’s six children are professional
musicians. Today we are joined by three of them: Darius, the eldest
Brubeck son, is a jazz pianist, composer, educator and bandleader.
Chris (a familiar face to our friends at the Wilton Library) is an
award-winning composer and superlative trombonist and bassist. Dan is a
Grammy-nominated drummer known for his exciting solos. For this
performance, the Brubecks are joined by internationally known U.K.
saxophonist/composer Dave O’Higgins to pay tribute to beloved Dave
Brubeck.
