4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Event Details

Has the past year got you feeling stressed, anxious, not sleeping well or having problems concentrating on school-work?  Join Matt DeBernardis, Resilience Trainer from Silver Hill Hospital, for an interactive online workshop and gather some tools to help you cope during the winter months of the pandemic. Matt has a degree in Psychology and Sport Psychology. His background includes training U.S Army soldiers and their families in resilience and psychological skill building.

This workshop focuses on evidence-based strategies proven to enhance one’s ability to not only bounce back, but to grow and thrive in the face of hardship. Participants will be provided with practical exercises focused on reducing stress and implementing self-care strategies. This workshop will be facilitated by Covid-19 Resilience Campaign staff and dialogue and open discussion among participants is highly encouraged!

The session will not be recorded and participant information will not be shared.  Since this is a workshop, all attendees are asked to keep their cameras on and participate. Registration required and space limited. For students in grades 6-12.  A Zoom link will be sent the morning day before the workshop.

Sponsored by Wilton Library, Wilton Youth Council, Silver Hill Hospital and Kids in Crisis in conjunction with WiltonCares, a small group of community organizations working together to help provide assistance and resources to those experiencing anxiety, depression, isolation, etc. due to Covid.
