Long-Term Care Insurance with the CT Partnership for Long-Term Care

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Event Details

Please join us for an informative presentation on securing long-term care insurance with the assistance of the Connecticut Partnership for Long Term Care, a program of the state's Office of Policy and Management.

You have a 401k or IRA, a diversified investment portfolio, a retirement nest egg. You’ve thought of everything – except for how to protect these assets should you need long-term care. It’s a fact: Just one year in a Connecticut nursing home can cost more than $166,000. And Medicare and health insurance may only cover a fraction of these costs. If you’re 40 or older, long-term care insurance approved by the State’s Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care could be part of your retirement plan. They’re affordable and provide asset protection, protect against inflation, and – most important – give you peace of mind through your retirement years.

No charge. Sponsored by Wilton Library and the CT Partnership for Long-Term Care. Online registration is required to receive the Zoom invitation link.

Our presenter, Aldo Pantano, has been with the CT Partnership for Long-Term Care for 13 years. Prior to joining the State, he spent 24 years in the private insurance industry including six years as a Sales Executive promoting and selling group Long Term Care Insurance to employers with 500 or more employees throughout the country. He speaks frequently on the topic of long-term care insurance and related topics. Aldo is also responsible for training insurance agents through the CT Partnership for Long-Term Care Producer Certification Training Program. In addition, he works closely with consumers and insurance agents to answer questions about the CT Partnership for Long Term Care, Medicaid, Medicare and long-term care insurance.
