Event Details

Please join us for a presentation about plastic - what plastic is, its environmental and health impacts, and how we can take action to live with less of it at systemic, individual, and community levels.

Our speaker, Jay Sinha, is the co-author (with Chantal Plamondon) of the timely bestselling book, Life Without Plastic: The Practical Step-by-Step Guide to Avoiding Plastic to Keep Your Family and the Planet Healthy (Page Street Publications, 2017), which distills their years of experience seeking out plastic alternatives into an easily understandable deep dive into the plastic pollution issue and practical how-to guide for living with less plastic. Please note: the speaker will give his presentation via Zoom which will be projected on-screen to an in-person audience in the Brubeck Room.

No charge. Co-sponsored by Wilton Library and Wilton Go Green. Registration required. Register online or call 203-762-6334. The library's Covid protocols will be followed. Please see the homepage for details.
