None of us wants to be the victim of identity theft, or lose our important data, or find that our computer has become infected.  Yet, these are all far too regular occurrences.  In this class we will talk about the threats that are lurking and how to do our best to stay safe online, from firewalls to phishing, from social engineering to security software, from ransomware to malware, from backups to updates, and from passwords to popups. We will discuss how to keep your computer protected, how to stay safe while browsing the internet, and how to recognize dangerous emails. These are among the topics that we will cover, so please join us for this important class.

Mike Ingber is the owner of Upward Business Systems, which has been in business since 1989 and provides expert, reliable, affordable computer consulting services to a large base of clients. Degree in Computer Science from Cornell University in 1979, and a B.S.
