Please join us in the Brubeck Room for a Wilton Youth Council Parenting Series event. This panel discussion will consider how play contributes to a healthy childhood and sets kids up for greater independence. Panelists will connect conversation with clips from the award-winning documentary, Chasing Childhood, which focuses on three communities in the tri-state area, including Wilton, and discusses many elements of what makes a healthy childhood. Prior to attending, we encourage participants to view the Chasing Childhood documentary, which is free on YouTube here.
Following the panel there will be a Q&A. Panelists include: Laure Friedman, Pediatric Occupational Therapist; Bernadette Hess, Asst. Principal, Early Learning Center at Miller Driscoll; and Meghan Perazella, CEO and Co-Founder of The Hangout Spot.
Sponsored by the Wilton Youth Council, Wilton Library, and SPED*NET. This panel is geared towards parents of kids Pre-K to Grade 5. Registration required. Please register online or call 203-762-6334. For more information, contact asato@wiltonlibrary.org.
